2017 welcomes the first Membersí Night of the year and it wows the sold out audience!

Our Membersí Night returned on Monday 20th February as a sold out audience was treated to incredible hair by our some of our talented members. This is a chance for members to be spotted for future opportunities so the work is always incredibly inspirational and a chance to see an array of talent.

Compere for the evening was Edward Hemmings and he introduced each team and/or individual before welcoming them to the stage.

First up was Natalie Allen from Harvey Luke Hair who presented 3 models, including 2 afro looks working with opposing textures. One was a sleek up do, while the other worked with the natural curl to enhance the overall style.

Next up was the Jamie Hill Salon who showcased a stunning earthy green tone in both their male and female model. The styles complimented the colour placement perfectly with a bold fringe and a soft quiff styling the looks out.

Heading to Membersí Night from Wales was new member Andrew Smith Salons inspired by their passion for colour. It was fabulous to see his looks that were all contributed to by influences such as artwork nature in his use of green.

ClubStar Art Team member Ellie Bond presented her Steel Riot collection and her interpretation of punk. Her edgy looks used techniques such as braiding and plaiting, but she also worked nails into her styling.

The final act for the first half was Joseph Koniak and his work continued to wow the audience. He executed his classic hair ups beautifully with stunning model choices all influenced by 3 of his favourite designers.

It was then a chance for everyone to hear from award winner Darren Ambrose, as Bruno Marc joined him for a special guest interview. It was lovely to gain such an insight into his career, and Darren conveyed the importance of a strong team and family values. His relationship with his wife is one that he considers his backbone and he spoke fondly of their experiences together.

Following the interview was Headmasters and Alfie Pfeffer with his 2 models that worked with soft pastel colours adding to the idea of creating beautiful hair.

The Annexx followed with a brilliant presentation that incorporated braiding and bobbles, and it was their experiences in teams like Project X that have helped progress their skills.

Next to the stage was Hair Associates with a sleek styled up do that worked with a strong pony tail, while the second model focused on texture and created by styling.

KJM Salons followed as they used beautiful soft pastels to enhance their haircuts and styling. There was a real androgynous feel that gave a stunning masculine edge to their soft feminine looks.

Inspired by freedom and restraint was Junior Green and his presentation of models. It was a really cool vibe that came from strong styling and bold usage of colour, including plaiting and black and white colour placement.

The Edge Team were next from Errol Douglas and they took their influences from rockíníroll with mohawks enhanced by cable ties, and even a hand weaved hat. The colour work was stunning and a canary yellow look was a real wow for the audience.

The final act to take to the stage was the young artistic team from Rush and their collection S&M Punk. They showcases 4 models with strong cuts and colours, with Michael Rackett and Ryan Humpage both confidently presenting their ideas with experience in ClubStar Ar Team last year.

It was a wonderful evening and the talent was spectacular. The audience were definitely left wanting more!

A big thank you to the new Wella Studio in London for providing the venue for the night.

Sarah Morrissey Salon Owner Sarai Hair and Beauty Crowthorne, said 'I took 6 members of my team, they really were impressed and hugely inspired by the super strong presentations.
