The Fellowship at HJ Live North
The Fellowship got on the road and headed to Manchester recently, to host another weekend of fantastic stage shows, this time at HJ Live North at Manchester Central.
HJ Live North is just one of the platform opportunities on offer to Fellowship members each year where Fellowship talent is often first discovered. The Fellowship are passionate about setting up their stage at industry events and seeing their members’ showcase their skills to a bursting hairdressing audience.
Thirteen salons from around the country represented The Fellowship at HJ Live North; from Rick Roberts up north in Beverley, to KH Hair in the midlands, to The Academy in Surrey. And it wouldn’t be a Fellowship stage without inspirational work from the one and only F.A.M.E. Team 2017, who owned the spotlight not once, not twice, but three times, as well as performances on the HJ & HJ Men Stage.
The hair looks brought to the stage were a myriad of expensive glamour, salon-ready styles, the latest from the barbering and men’s hairdressing world and colours from across the spectrum, proving that Fellowship member salons are among some of the best in the country. The F.A.M.E. Team showcased their collection to the Fellowship and HJ stage audiences; an edgy, colourful and grungy take on the ‘Youthquake’ movement in the sixties, sharing all the ideas and techniques that have cumulated after almost a year of working closely and developing their creative concepts as a team.
A fabulous few days that highlighted the talent within our industry. Thank you to everyone who took to the stage, from hairdressers, salon teams and comperes, and everyone who helped backstage and Ann Herman who once again brought a wonderful line-up to the event.
