Karoliina Saunders

What is your current role in the industry?

Finnish-born Karoliina Saunders offers a thoughtful, undeniably Scandinavian-influenced experience in her award-winning salon in rural Wiltshire.    But her personal profile as a session stylist and educator is far-reaching, with her hairdressing talents known all around the world.

Karoliina has been fortunate enough to indulge her first love of fashion through a jam-packed line -up of stage, photographic, editorial and session work.   These assignments have taken her all over the world, as well as working backstage at all the major Fashion Weeks.

She is an educator and RCA for Revlon Professional and also holder of titles Creative Head Image of the Year award and Fellowship for British Hairdressing Salon of the Year.   Karoliina is currently Fellowship for British Hairdressing ClubStar Art Team Project Leader, designed to help stylists under the age of 25 develop their artistic talent and engagement out of the salon environment.    In 2022 she was appointed Chancellor of Fellowship for British Hairdressing.

What does being part of the fellowship mean to you?

The Fellowship has been an amazing platform for me. They have given me so much support & opportunities to showcase my work onstage and work alongside people I look up to.  I’m extremely proud to be part of such a prestigious, inclusive organisation.
