What is your current role in the industry?
Lisa Farrall is a multi-award-winning hair global session stylist, educator, and founder of WIG London. Lisa has been making heads turn in the industry for over 25 years working with celebrities, music artists and TV Personalities - both in the UK and internationally. Her studio, WIG London is focused on education and hair equality – teaching the art of texture neutral hairdressing. Lisa is all about EQUALITY and uses her platform to represent all humans. Lisa had creatively directed shoots and brands for over a decade working with award winning brands. Lisa is a Global Ambassador for Schwarzkopf and alongside her role on the Fellowship executive board, she has been Project X’s leader - guiding and inspiring emerging artists and creating opportunities and experiences that money can’t buy. Lisa is also a judge on E4’s ‘The Big Blow Out’, alongside Sam McKnight.
What does being part of the Fellowship mean to you?
The Fellowship is everything I believe in which is creativity and collaboration. There is no other platform where you can connect with hairstylists on this level. I love being a mentor and giving back to the industry to see others shine and grow and this is what the Fellowship does. Being on the board and recognised within the Fellowship as their Head of Creative Direction, will help me use my expertise to elevate and advocate for our industry and as always will be supported by the Fellowship. The Fellowship really is a community of powerhouses and hungry hairdressers with no glass roof. I am part of creating something my younger self always wanted, mentorship and opportunities. That’s what the Fellowship is and that’s what I’m proud to be part of.
