PROJECT: Men held its first 2021 online session with project leader Jonathan Andrew.
Jonathan opened the session with his thoughts about the year ahead explaining to the team “I’m keen to ensure we maximise the opportunities during this lockdown period and save the shoot, barbering and cutting opportunities for later in the year.” He emphasised that the team needs to look at what works online and how they can get the most from the digital experience.
Jodie Wheeler replied that doing long hair on blockheads works well on ZOOM. She suggested “We could look at saving the precise cutting on models for when we are out of lockdown. And I’m really looking forward to working on a photoshoot later in the year”.
Jonathan confirmed long hair cutting and grooming sessions are on the team’s agenda for 2021. He has also arranged an exciting business seminar with an owner who has a highly successful product line. He added “I’ll also be helping you to maximise your social media activity and build your online profile.”
He emphasised he had already approached some amazing mentors to work on PROJECT: Men but was keen to understand more about the team’s expectations for 2021.
George Smith said he was really interested in learning how to grow a social media profile, photoshoots and how product lines are launched. While fellow team member George Knight said his real interest lay in the fashion industry, working as a session stylist and on fashion shoots, and being involved in shows.
