Bio

Rino has always had a passion for men’s hairdressing, and loves the diversity that his career has brought him. As Head of Education for Manifesto he helps devise and deliver a programme to an international audience, he also runs a regular column in both Manifesto salons, while continuing to work at major fashion shows as a session stylist.

His passion for hair began at the age of 12 in Italy. Coming from a family of hairdressers he was excited to be attending a live hairdressing competition with his father. It was at this moment that he established that hairdressing was most definitely his chosen career.

Starting training at 14, by the age of 16 he was winning major competitions in Italy, including national men’s hairdressing awards.

Rino Riccio is Head of Education at Manifesto, a progressive men’s grooming brand with salons in Leather Lane, Holborn and Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross.

For Rino Manifesto is a perfect fit, as the ethos of the brand is to combine technical haircutting skills with session styling techniques. “Cut technically, style naturally”, is the Manifesto mantra, and its one he totally believes in.

In his role as Head of Education for Manifesto he is dedicated to passing on the brand’s ethos and the skills and techniques behind it to other hairdressers and barbers, both in the UK and abroad.
