AKIN KONIZI FOUR TIME WINNER OF THE HJ BRITISH HAIRDRESSER OF THE YEAR TITLE SPENDS THE DAY WITH OUR 2021 F.A.M.E. TEAM!

Known for his precision cuts and bold geometric work, London hairdresser Akin Konizi is the creative force behind HOB Academy as their International Creative Director and four time winner of the HJ British Hairdresser of the Year title.

Akin commented: “I love to take time out to mentor young hairdressers and the F.A.M.E. team members were so enthusiastic with a wide range of skills. It was a pleasure to spend the day with them and share my knowledge and passion about hair cutting.”

Jose Domene comments: “Akin is fantastic, his technical skills are incredible, we learnt so much. What I took from the day is how much he showed us how far you can push things. He told us about the importance of always trying to do your best, being conscious when doing hair and how important is to think.  An amazing day!”

Casey Coleman comments: “Monday was great! I’ve been sat in front of so many “hair cutters” and always end up feeling confused. But Akin made it so much easier to understand. Sure, it was very technical, but his way of delivering it was second to none. An all-round amazing day for myself and the rest of the team!”

Brooke Evans summs up the day: "Wow Akin blew my mind. At first I thought with him being a technical cutter I would find it difficult to follow with terminology, but how wrong was I! He spent his time explaining to us haircuts, knowledge of the industry and show casing previous work! His attention to detail is a whole new level to what I have seen before and what a nice guy!"
