DEBBIE GEE MENTORS LASZLO ROMAN THE ANN HERMAN 2025 SCHOLARSHIP WINNER

Laszlo spent his first mentoring day with Debbie Gee at Billi Currie in London. Laszlo was awarded the Scholarship after impressing the judges at HairCon 2025.

Debbie, who is based at Billi Currie, art directs photo shoots & teaches presentation skills around the world, lending her expertise for the day to give Laszlo an insight on how to present in front of others and how to remain confident. 

Laszlo comments: “Starting my Ann Herman Scholarship with Debbie Gee was an incredibly exciting experience. From the moment we started planning, she was so welcoming. She called me before the training day to discuss my goals and tailor the session to what I wanted to achieve. She asked me to bring along previous mood boards and videos of me presenting, but I had no idea what to expect. There were definitely moments that felt uncomfortable… presenting repeatedly, watching myself on video, making notes, and breaking down my performance. But honestly, it was one of the best days I could have asked for. Debbie taught me so much, not just about presenting, but about my personal brand and voice - things I hadn’t even realized I was overlooking. I’m so grateful to Debbie for putting so much effort and preparation into making this day so impactful. She is amazing!”
