Acing the Basics: Calligraphy Cut Scholarship winners spend the day with UK Ambassadors, Nicola Symth and Sarah Riggott

Held like a pen, the calligraph cuts hair at a precise 21° angle – every strand, each time. This method not only enhances the natural movement and volume of the hair but also minimises split ends, leaving it looking healthier and feeling softer. The Calligraphy Cut Scholarship has been designed to put its recipients at the forefront of hairdressing, with the opportunity to master a unique skill that will set them apart in the industry. 

From mastering the basic fundamentals to exploring creative flair, Calligraphy Cut’s UK Ambassadors Sarah Riggot and Nicola Symth demonstrated how to using the tool before letting the team loose to put their skills to the test and experiment with the techniques they had learnt from the day.
