Chaulk Education, a brand neutral colour education company share their ethos with PROJECT: X

PROJECT: X were set some homework ahead of their session with Chaulk Education.    “Think about this year’s pantone, 2021 pantone is yellow & grey.  Create a mood board with your interpretation of these two colours and how you can show a good impression of you as a colourist.  Your creativity!  Insight into you!”

Sarah & Lianne from Chaulk Education comment: “We had the best time sharing our ideas of creating individuality through adding shapes of colour to the hair. Sharing our ethos of beautiful creations that can be broken down and simplified for all to learn and use with their unique fingerprint, is what we love to do.

Having a very interactive group to showcase our Shapes Collection too, was very energising and of course we had to share some science. Which is what all our courses are built on, to add affirmation and inspiration for each individual to grow with confidence. Being brand neutral gives us the opportunity to share what tools and products we love at the moment.  Don't get us wrong, we love all brands however, we also love to research as nothing stays the same in this beautiful industry.

We would like to thank the Fellowship, Sam Burnett and the Project: X team for allowing us onto this platform and we are looking forward to seeing everyone's creations.”

Thomas Worth, Tint comments: “I really enjoyed the session with Chaulk Education, the girls were lovely and cut out all the rubbish that we didn’t need to know. I can’t wait to try out some of their “shapes” sectioning patterns in the salon.”

Reina Boddy, Joseph Ferraro Hair comments: “Had a lovely session wish Chaulk Education. Learnt some new colouring techniques that I think I’ll be able to use a lot in day to day salon work! The lovely Lianne & Sarah brought so much energy & knowledge & banter to the day.”

Arif Arikan, Alice and the Hair, comments: “I loved the session with Chaulk Education, it really gave me some inspiration on how to be more creative when it comes to colouring. I loved learning about how you can create so many different colour results using shapes!”

Roisin Murphy, K H Hair, comments: “Chaulk Education day was a very fun upbeat colour course, learning a range of colour placements to suit different hair styles, It’s  something I’ve wanted to learn for a long time but not been able to do, so I’m super grateful!  it’s perfect timing for when the salons reopen!  I feel the techniques they thought are so diverse so I’m super excited to put them into play and experiment with it.”

Lea Shaw, Rural Fringe Hair Salon comments: “The Chaulk Education session was good, I liked how different they both were in their approaches to colour which made it interesting. The end results were beautiful and the girls were really high energy throughout.  The mood board task was really good too, loved seeing everyone’s interpretations and seeing how differently we all see things.”
