CLUBSTAR ART TEAM 2022 SPEND THE DAY WITH THEIR PROJECT LEADER KAROLIINA SAUNDERS
Ahead of an amazing year of mentoring days, the ClubStar Art Team spent their first team day with their project leader Karoliina Saunders at her studio space in Wiltshire. In the morning the team spent getting to know each other and discussing the year ahead.
In the afternoon, it was all about getting creative with the team practising braiding, pony tails and creative session work.
Josh Easter comments: “I learnt so much from the session with Karoliina and getting to know the rest of the team. It was lovely to get to know everyone’s backgrounds and what their strengths are. In the session I learnt lots of quick tips that will help me on session work and how to braid tight to the scalp using a comb. These skills I will definitely be taking back to the salon and shoots.”
Abby Quinn comments: “This was my first Clubstar Art Team session, at Karoliina’s creative space in Highworth, with our Project Leader Karoliina Saunders. I enjoyed meeting the amazing people that are in the team for first time. What I learned from the day, was how to recreate a session hair look for runway. Also, how much product it takes to really hold the hair, and different techniques of braiding and plaiting.”
Sam Bickle added: "I had such a fantastic first day with the Fellowship and the Clubstar Art Team 2022 at Karoliina Saunders Hair desgin studio. It was lovely to meet the amazingly talented team members and our incredible mentor, Karoliina Saunders who shared her knowledge and expertise in session and editorial hair with us. I learnt so many useful tips and tricks and was really inspired! When I came back to the salon (Urban Edge Shenfield) I was buzzing with excitement and enthusiasm and couldn't wait to show an tell everyone what I'd been up to! I'm really looking forward to an exciting year of learning, growing and amazing opportunities!"
