CLUBSTAR ART TEAM SPEND THE DAY WITH TEAM FROM JACK & THE WOLFE

The team spent the day at Hirst & Williams in London with the amazing Lydia Wolfe, Jack Mead & Kathryn Dartnell.  This was a creative concept workshop: featuring idea generation, mood boarding and learning how to bring concepts to life. How to build the foundations of your own collection ideas. Featuring session styling expertise with Kathryn, how to layer products.

Yasmin Snowden comments: “Lydia and Kathryn were both so incredibly inspiring! It was amazing hearing how they became the hairdressers they are today.  They gave us all determination to reach our career goals! We learnt how to create mood boards without using just hair photos. In the afternoon Kathryn taught us tips on styling using the brand Oribe! Thank you for a brilliant day.”

Leah Barker comments: “We had an amazing day Lydia and Kathryn yesterday getting to know their hairdressing journeys and discovering how they find inspiration for their collections and for hair in general! In the morning, we explored how to create mood boards using their amazing tips and tricks, learning how to draw inspiration from objects far beyond just hair imagery. We also got hands-on with different apps to piece together a full collection concept. In the afternoon, Kathryn guided us through a range of styling techniques, showing how to harmonise looks with the colour palettes Lydia had created from her mood boards. It was amazing to see how different products can completely transform the final result even when using the same styling technique!  Thank you for such an inspiring day!”
