CLUBSTAR ART TEAM SPEND THE DAY WITH THE HARE & BONE ART TEAM
Jamie Benny & Jose Domene from Hare & Bone, were the mentors for ClubStar Art Team day, which took place at the Ghd Academy in London.
Jamie set the team a task ahead of the day to think of a concept of their choice. The day was split between coaching the team on presentation and also a workshop on creating a look with a concept of their choice.
Jacqueline Kankam-Hoppe comments: “Today was amazing! Being mentored by both Jamie and Jose has taught me a lot, not only about hair but also about myself. I have gained many great techniques that will benefit me commercially and on the creative side of hairdressing. The most important message that I got from today is precision whether it is cutting or styling! If you are consistent and prepare, you will always achieve what you want.”
Victoria Hughes comments: “I just want to say I had the best day! Jamie and josé are just incredible at their jobs and give me so much information to practice. Today gave me a real insight of what it’s like presenting on stage and how to conduct myself. They gave us an incredible demonstration going through a shag hair-cut and simple barrel curling. Also showed us how important it is to set the curls before brushing them out. In the afternoon we created our own looks which I practice finger waves.”
