Colour Project with Carolyn Newman

The Fellowship’s Colour Project team got together with the colour icon Carolyn Newman recently to explore how to create their own colour techniques and to plan for their upcoming Salon International stage show.

Carolyn kicked off the day with some colour creative inspiration with the team – doing what she does best! She asked the team to think about what is happening in the hair industry and on social media, and got them thinking about how to translate a shape into their very own colour technique. With their minds ticking and thinking differently about inspiration, it was the perfect time to start planning their Salon International stage show, with the big date in the diary looming ever closer.

With preparation being key, Carolyn asked each team member to present their concept and model idea and together, the team discussed clothes styling, make-up and music ideas. As they pulled everything together as a team, they were able to keep things slick and uniformed – vital when putting on a good show.

“The teams' ideas were fantastic,” says Carolyn, “It was an inspiring day and they are going to wow the audience on the Fellowship stage at Salon International – good luck!”

Team member Helen Turner from Francesco Group says, “It was a fantastic opportunity to have Carolyn’s ideas and inspirations when planning our stage show and she helped us to think outside the box and use different tools to do this. I’m sure all of the team will agree that it was what we needed!”
