F.A.M.E. TEAM SPEND THE DAY WITH CHARLOTTE MENSAH

The team spent the day with Charlotte Mensah, who is the Founder and Creative Director of Hair Lounge.  

Charlotte spent the morning by introducing herself and her team, Kacey & Adiem, as well as sharing with the team expert techniques for caring for afro, curly and textured hair.

They then moved onto a hands-on experience practising techniques from Charlotte’s book “Good Hair” insights and practical tips for ongoing hair care.

Sam Bickle comments: “What an incredible day we have had with Charlotte and her team. They were all so welcoming and generous with their knowledge and expertise. It felt such a comfortable place to learn and practice. It was really amazing to be hands on all day and learn from them all first hand. I definitely learnt skills I will continue to use for years to come.”

Annie Franklin comments: “We had an amazing day with Charlotte Mensah and her team. Loved seeing the passion behind her self-made products and how she incorporates heritage into her work. Her and the salon felt so welcoming and filled with genuine energy. I left with new techniques for on set work and some great tips for my Afro clients.”

It was inspiring to see how her passion, deeply rooted in her heritage, has shaped everything she has achieved. She created a warm and welcoming atmosphere by baking her grandmother’s cake and making us lunch, making us all feel at home. I’ve learned so many valuable skills today that I will carry forward in my work with clients."
