F.A.M.E. TEAM SPEND THE DAY WITH COS SAKKAS & ANNABEL PAYNE

The team spend the day at the Toni&Guy Academy in London with, British Hairdresser of the Year Cos Sakkas and Newcomer of the Year Annabel Payne.  The team were also joined by Nicky Pope, Publisher of Tribu-te magazine.

The day started with Cos sharing his journey to becoming British Hairdresser of the Year with Annabel sharing how she went from assistant to an award-winning stylist.

They then went onto showcase their new creative academy collection, with a live demo at how they approach hair cutting and styling. The team then spent the afternoon experimenting and learning new skills in creative cutting.

Annie Franklin comments: “We had the pleasure of spending the day with British Hairdresser of the Year, Cos Sakkas and Annabel Payne newcomer of the year. Hearing the history of Toni & Guy reignited my passion for growing the salon/brand. We delved into the concepts behind their collections and it was really eye-opening. In the afternoon we got hands on with new cutting techniques. It pushed my creativity and I went back and incorporated what I learnt into my hair cuts behind the chair. An unforgettable experience.”

Sam Bickle comments: "Our day spent with Cos and Annabel was so inspiring.  It was really interesting to hear the history of Toni&Guy and the way they have developed their style and collections through the years.
We had a fantastic hands on afternoon, cutting. We went over techniques that were so versatile and I can't wait to use them in the salon! I left on a buzz! I came into the salon the next day full of passion and excitement!"

Bekki Delehedy comments: "Our day with Cos Akkas and Annabel Payne was just amazing learning about the background of Toni & Guy and how they put there collections together to how you bring a look to life and create cut and colours from it that they use as concepts. The practical session taught me skills that I can also bring back to the salon and make me stronger in my every day work with my clients. A truly amazing day."

Stevie Leah Loscombe added: "I had such an inspirational day with Cos and Annabel as they took us through their award-winning collections and the concepts behind them. It was incredible to hear the story of Toni & Guy’s heritage and the profound impact it has had on the hair industry today. They also taught us haircuts that I know I’ll carry forward and use every day in my work."
