F.A.M.E. TEAM 2023 START THEIR F.A.M.E. TEAM YEAR!

The first team day was packed full with presentation skills, media advice & press shots all in one day! The team travelled down and started their team day with Debbie G at the Billi Currie salon in London.  The team were asked to create a short video for Debbie, introducing themselves, their thoughts on what makes a great presentation, what they believe they need to improve, and their expectations from the session with Debbie. 

Then it was off to Electric Space in the afternoon to have a meeting with Nicky Pope from Tribu-te & press shots with Jack Eames.

Steph Gallagher comments: “The first day was wicked, honestly didn’t feel like we had all just met which was so lovely. It’s hard to put it all into a few small lines.  So, all of us met presentation guru Debbie G at Billi Currie Salon, who really helped us unravel ourselves as people and master key aspects of a strong presentation. We popped over to Mark Woolley’s Electric Space, for our media masterclass with Nicky Pope from Tribu-te. Nicky helped shine a light on the importance of networking and understanding our language towards business or consumer as well as how to prepare the perfect press package.”

Edd Moss comments: “After literally bumping into each other in a coffee shop we made our way to Billi Currie salon for a morning with the lovely Debbie G on presentation skills.  When we practised working as a team and on ourselves. Taking on board some great advice and tips!! Thank-you Debbie. After lunch we went to meet Nicky Pope, Publisher of Tribu-te, at Electric Space for media training packed with absolutely tons of information about the hair magazine world and guidance for our year ahead of us!  We then had an evening with the talented Jack Eames for our group press shots. Was a great vibe in the studio and really happy with the photos coming soon.  After catching up with Mark Woolley we finished for the day with our Project Leader Sally Brooks who gave us an insight of what’s to come with a group discussion and some guidance of our direction as a team this year.”

James Parr added: “We had an amazing first day as part of the fellowship F.A.M.E. TEAM.  Meeting Debbie G in the morning, working on mindset management and confidence, was brilliant for us to get to know each other and to start to bond as a team.  Then meeting with Nicky Pope from Tribu-te, magazine where she spoke to us about all things media, dealing with the industry press and how to navigate through the industry to gain the most exposure. Once we had wrapped up with Nicky we had the legendary Jack Eames come to take our press shots, which was insane, making us all feel really calm and bringing out our personalities as a team!”
