In session with Sam

The 2018 F.A.M.E. Team recently spent the day with Sam Burnett and Jamie Benny, at Sam’s central London salon, Hare & Bone.

The day started with a presentation from Sam, where he shared highlights from his career and the stories behind some of the most notable look he has created over the years.

A successful salon owner and session stylist, Sam also has heritage with the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, as a former member of the F.A.M.E. Team himself. He is also a former winner of Newcomer of the Year at HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards.

After a look at his career to date, Sam demonstrated looks from his most recent collection including techniques for creating innovative shapes using just elastic, thus cutting down on kit and prep time.

In the afternoon, the team worked with Sam to create wigs from scratch; another essential session skill they will be taking away and using.
