NEW PROJECT MEN BRAND PARTNER LEAF SCISSORS

We’d like to introduce to you our new Fellowship Brand Partner, Leaf Scissors who is partnering with Project Men. We are very excited to be working with a brand that is championing sustainability in the hairdressing industry. 

Founder Steven McManus provides us with the background behind Leaf Scissors.

Our Goal
The goal for Leaf is to produce and source the highest quality hairdressing tools whilst constantly looking for ways to make our business and industry more sustainable.

Our Mission
Leaf is proud to plant at least 10 trees for each pair of scissors sold! Our goal is to plant 1 million trees by January 2025. So far we have planted a phenomenal 104,472 since we
started in 2019.

Plastic Free Packaging
All of our scissors arrive in 100% plastic free packaging in our beautiful ECO boxes, made from a minimum 90% recycled material and are fully recyclable! (But make a great storage box for your salon too!)

Tori, our Creative Director, recommends spending a little more time researching companies for sustainability. Find out what their missions, ethos, supply chain is etc so you know exactly who you are buying from and if they correlate with your own views.

Leaf currently has over 10,000 active clients that have already made a conscious choice to be more sustainable and to help the environment. Every time someone purchases from us, no matter what the product, We plant at least 10 trees! This is a really easy way for someone to make a difference to the environment.

To finish off, I believe that there is room in the hair industry to be more environmentally conscious. Change is possible if each hairdresser individually, and hair salons collectively make more sustainable choices. Hair salon sustainability is a crucial step for the hair industry.
