THE FELLOWSHIP FOR BRITISH HAIRDRESSING ANNOUNCES LESLEY JENNISON AS F.A.M.E. TEAM 2027-2028 LEADER

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing is delighted to announce that Lesley Jennison will be the next F.A.M.E. Team Leader for 2027-2028. 

Lesley’s journey in hairdressing began at the iconic Vidal Sassoon London Academy, where she laid the groundwork for an exceptional career. Over the next 18 years, she broke boundaries and made history, becoming the first woman to lead the Colour Department, join the International Art Team, and manage one of the brand’s busiest salons.

Her passion for colour led her to spend years perfecting her skills, culminating in her appointment as Global Colour Ambassador for Schwarzkopf. In this role, she plays a key part in creating collections, whilst helping other hairdressers push their creative boundaries. Lesley’s unique talent for colour has earned her a dedicated following of high-profile clients, bringing her bold vision to life for designers such as Raf Simons, Alexander McQueen, John Richmond, and Vetements.

A lifetime of colour knowledge and passion for her craft makes Lesley a tour de force within our industry, as she continuously breaks boundaries and pushes ideas. But through it all, Lesley’s love for her craft and her dedication to clients have remained at the heart of everything she does.

In 2025, Lesley was awarded the prestigious ‘Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year’ award at the Fellowship Luncheon and Awards for her contribution to the organisation. Commenting on her announcement as the next F.A.M.E. Team Leader, Lesley said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be chosen as the F.A.M.E. Team Leader for 2027 – 2028. Humbled and honoured that I get to share my energy, passion, and experience. Without the mentoring I received, I would not be here today, so I take this responsibility very seriously. I have some of the best British and European hairdressers giving their time next year, which I know will take everyone to the next level.”

The Fellowship F.A.M.E. Team Leader role will be a perfect fit for Lesley to continue her magical career and her Fellowship collaboration.
