CLUBSTAR ART TEAM WITH AFRO & TEXTURED HAIR SPECIALIST NAOMI BROOKS

The team spent their day at The Hair Sanctuary, in Manchester with owner Naomi Brooks, Educator Afro & textured hair specialist.

In the morning Naomi presented a demo on cut and styling and then the afternoon the team were hand’s on putting what they were taught on real live models.

Tash Filip comments: “The session reminded me that the real magic starts in the prep. Attending Naomi Brooks workshop was a masterclass in intention, every product I have used today had purpose. What I took from the day:
it’s not just about what works but, the use of the right product should feel nourishing in your hands and luxurious on the hair, that’s when you know the results will make the person in your chair feel just as radiant as they look.  The right products should glide, nourish, and speak to the hair’s needs before you ever pick up a tool. That feeling, when the hair responds, when the foundation is cared for, that is when you know the end result will not only look amazing, but make someone feel cared for. And  when someone feels that kind of care in your chair, they carry it with them. I learnt that prepping textured hair isn’t a just a routine, not just a step. It’s foundation for everything wonderful that follows. And that is truely beautiful."
