THE FELLOWSHIP ANNOUNCES NEW ONE-OF-A-KIND LONG HAIR SCHOLARSHIP

Patrick Cameron is recognised worldwide as the foremost authority when it comes to long hairdressing. With a career spanning decades, a global social following built entirely through organic content, and a dedicated online education platform trusted by professional stylists in over 100 countries, Patrick brings unrivalled credibility to any scholarship programme bearing his name.

Long hairdressing is a specialist discipline that demands patience, precision, and a commitment to continuous learning. It is also one of the most commercially rewarding services a stylist can offer. Yet it remains consistently underrepresented in professional development programmes.

The Patrick Cameron Long Hair Scholarship addresses that gap directly. It is designed for stylists who want to go deeper - who are ready to commit to their craft, document their progress, and be seen by one of the best in the world.

Unlike scholarships that reward a single polished performance, this scholarship is built around a structured learning journey. Every applicant must complete challenges on Patrick’s dedicated long hair education platform, Style Challenge. Applicants must complete three designated styles from the Essentials collection on Style Challenge – textured bouffant, classic pleat and basic wave. Each challenge requires step-by-step photographic documentation of the work, submitted through the platform for review. Applicants must then complete three further styles of their own choosing from either the Red Carpet or Bridal Solutions collection on Style Challenge. Alongside the submission of their six looks, applicants are asked to share their experience and approach to dressing long hair and a specific moment when dressing long hair made a real difference to a client.

Applications open on the 15th of June 2026, and will close on the 31st of January 2027.One Grand Prize winner will be selected, with up to five runners-up also being selected. 

The winner of the Patrick Cameron Long Hair Scholarship will receive: 

• A personal and dedicated 1-on-1 with Patrick Cameron in May 2027. 
• Access to Long Hair – Patrick’s video education platform.
• A signed copy of Patrick Cameron’s heritage bridal reference book. 
• Full Style Challenge certification.
• A curated selection of Patrick Cameron’s professional long hair accessories from the Patrick Cameron Shop, including signature tools used in his on work.
