PROJECTS 2022 FINALE
The Fellowship for British Hairdressing brought all its projects under one roof for an evening of celebration.
The evening, held at WN Studios in East London, saw the teams present the trends, techniques, skills and knowledge they have learnt from their mentors during the past 12 months.It was also an opportunity to thank the outgoing leaders for their dedication and passion in leading their teams throughout the past few years.
Big thanks to ClubStar Art Team leader Karoliina Saunders, who is handing the reigns to Jamie Benny from Hare & Bone; Project X leader Sam Burnett who is being replaced by session stylist Lisa Farrall; Paul Dennison is handing over the mantle to new Project Colour leader Daniel Couch from Russell Eaton. Simon Shaw will continue as leader of Project Men for 2023.
The teams spent the day prepping their models before a catwalk show in front of industry peers, colleagues, and hair heroes. High with emotion, the teams talked about the mentors who spent time with them to build their skills, confidence and abilities, something for which they will be forever grateful.
For 2023 there are three new projects, Project Afro led by Jacqui McIntosh, Project Sassoon with Damien Peers and Project Extend, which sees Vice Chair Michelle Griffin taking the lead.
