PROJECT AFRO TEAM DAY WORKING ON PERMANENT, SEMI & TEMPORARY STRAIGHTENING
The team spent the day at the beautiful House of Keune by Bloom in London with guest mentor Stepen Debellotte, International Educator for Design Essentials.
The morning was spent on theory & product knowledge followed by a demo. After lunch the team got to work on live models reconstructing textured hair.
Jade Miles comments: “It was a great day learning about different treatment we can use for smoothing and conditioning the curlier hair types and textures. We were able to determine which systems were best for each model based on hair types, lifestyles and the hair history. It was great to go on a journey with our clients in this session.”
Alexandra Wood comments: “Had a really great session with Pat and the team! Was lovely to do work on live models and go through everyone’s hair type, as well as different techniques and meeting Stephen who went through everything with us too. So lovely to be around such talented people in our industry and having them help us and always answering our questions.”
Emma Mulvihill added: “Our session was great. It was a practical session using Design Essentials Smoothing Therapy System and Silk Press Treatment range. I loved being hands on and I felt we all learnt so much. Thank you to Pat and the team for all your help and support! I’m growing in confidence with every session we do.”
