PROJECT COLOUR SPEND THE DAY WITH THE TEAM FROM SASSOON ACADEMY

Danielle Harvey, Assistant Creative Director & Pink Grubb Colour Director from the Sassoon Academy took the team through a masterclass in colouring and cutting at Wella World Studios.

Katie McLaughlin comments: “We had a really good day with Danielle and Pink from the Sassoon Academy. We watched them work as a team in the morning cutting and colouring their models showing us some amazing techniques. The afternoon we paired up to create our own look. April and I worked together both cutting and colouring either side of our dolls head to create our Sassoon style cut and our interpretation on a shine line.”

April Mash comments: “Our Sassoon Day with Danielle & Pink was definitely one of my favourites! They both had such amazing energy which was really inspiring and made the learning aspect so fun! The work they presented and created in front of us was beyond amazing to see, so it was really excited to be able to recreate something similar on our headblocks. I thoroughly enjoyed working in pairs as we were able to achieve a lot in a short space of time but Danielle & Pink were also able to give us a lot of time and advice. Thank you for a great day as always!”

Sophie Perfect added:  “Our day with Danielle & Pink was such an amazing day learning classic hairstyles with a modern twist. We watched live demo’s in the morning and then in the afternoon we got to create our own look.”
