SASSOON ACADEMY PRESENT A CUT & COLOURING DAY WITH PROJECT X

Danielle Harvey, Assistant UK Creative Director & Pink Grubb, Colour Director, from Sassoon Academy provided the team with an amazing combination of cutting & colouring, as Wella World Studio in London.

In the morning Danielle & Pink, worked on live models to create looks.  The afternoon was all about putting the learnings into practice, working in pairs to create the mornings looks.  The team chose to either do a cut or a colour.

James Farrer comments: “Our day with the Sassoon Academy was incredible. The style and use of disciplined techniques, took me back to my foundations of cutting.  I was partnered up with Rebecca and we smashed our look as a dream team.”

Sarah McCulloch comments: "By far the best team day yet! What a day. We started off with a demo, followed by a presentation then hands on. We worked in pairs (my team mate was Amy) we had such a great time and really had fun, playing with different cuts and colours outside our comfort zone, lots of peer learning and a “whole rounded team learning day.” 

Shannon Jones added: "Our day with Danielle and Pink was fantastic. They took their time to work with each individual to achieve what they had in mind. Their techniques were amazing as it made you stand back and actually think about how and why positioning and precision make a big difference! They were friendly and caring for you as individuals and your future career. All in all, it was brilliant!!"
