PROJECT X SPEND THE DAY WITH EFI DAVIES TONI&GUY’S INTERNATIONAL ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

The team spent the day at the Toni&Guy Academy in London, with the award winning Efi Davies, International Artistic Director, Stuart Matuska, Technical Artistic Director, Yui Yui Tateno, Art Director & Educator all part of the Toni&Guy Academy Educators.

The theme for the day was ‘Avant Garde’.  The team were asked to bring images of techniques they would like to learn, which can be hair, pictures, an item or whatever they are inspired by.

Gabbie Wain comments: “Our Day with Efi Davies learning all things Avant Garde. Starting out with an introduction and history of Toni&Guy Avant Garde collections and Efi’s work. Her explanation of how each look was created was captivating. We were all in awe of the technological skills behind these looks. Then a live demo of prepping, and developing a look. From outfit/makeup to hair. Making hair sheets and wig caps from different material was good. Adding another new skill set to our project. Efi and her colleagues Yui and Stuart have opened my mind more to Avant Garde. Maybe its something I would like to get into now for sure.“
