CHARLOTTE MCGEE & NICOLE ESPIE WINNERS OF THE 2025 SASSOON SCHOLARSHIP

The Sassoon Scholarship is a highly coveted opportunity in the industry, providing advanced training and mentorship from the renowned Sassoon Academy which is recognised as the best training in the world.          

Sassoon offers arguably the best training in the world but it's not always within reach of every young eager hairdresser. The winner of the Fellowship Sassoon Scholarship will be given the opportunity to enhance their skills in cutting, colour, and styling with a course at Sassoon Academy. The Sassoon Scholarship is sponsored by Mutu Solutions, trusted by the UK's best hair & beauty businesses for their Salon Call Manager solution. 

The winner can claim towards travel and if required, accommodation costs whilst on the courses, courtesy of Mutu Solutions. Plus, PR profile through the Fellowship platform.

The 12 finalists for the Sassoon Scholarship 2025 were invited to a day of live judging and the winner of the 2025 Scholarship was chosen. The Sassoon Scholarship is open to all members of the Fellowship, being intended for someone who is passionate about their art and wants to develop their skills. The winner of the Sassoon Scholarship receives their choice of four Sassoon courses, up to the value of £2.5k (excluding speciality courses). 

On Monday the 16th June, the Sassoon Scholarship Auditions took place at the House of Sassoon in London. 12 hopeful finalists were judged by the Barry Stephens CEO of The Fellowship for British Hairdressing & MD of Mutu, Karoliina Saunders, Head of Session for The Fellowship for British Hairdressing & Daniel McCourt, Assistant UK Creative Director for the Sassoon Academy. The finalists were invited in to present a mood board and asked some questions by the panel of judges. This year the Scholarship had TWO winners!
