Sassoon Scholarship Winner Announced for 2019!

Over 20 applicants entered and we thank everyone on the panel of judges who interviewed them about their lives, careers and aspirations.

On the panel were: Edward Darley, Sassoon - Martyn Wady, Denman - Laura Husband, HJ - Megan Danskine, Professional Hairdresser and Ashleigh Hodges, Fellowship Chancellor

After a day of interviews, they decided on Niamh Morris as their worthy winner.

“I was so blown away by the amount and standard of applicants this year for the Sassoon scholarship,” says Ashleigh. “Everyone was so awesome and very deserving in their own way, and it’s always so hard for the judges to pick only one. It’s such a fantastic initiative and something that can truly develop an individual’s career as well as those around them. This year’s winner really deserves this opportunity and I can’t wait to see her grow from it.”

With her new education and ongoing commitment to the Fellowship, Niamh is now on track to develop both her technical skills and industry profile – we can’t wait to see what she does next!
