THE FELLOWSHIP CELEBRATES ITS 75TH ANNIVERSARY

In 1946, Benjamin Neil Furman and Riche of Hay Hill created The Fellowship of Hair Artists of Great Britain, designed for hairdressers to showcase their work on regular meetings and network with other like-minded people.

Now, 75 years later, the Fellowship for British Hairdressing still respects these values – and is celebrating its heritage in a special Yearbook. The glossy, coffee-table book will look back at the last 75 years of the hairdressing industry – the trends and the people who have helped shape the industry it is today. The book also looks to what the future holds for the industry and how the Fellowship is helping shape it.

President Ken Picton, says: “The Fellowship is the heartbeat of the industry and our coffee table book is a must-read for all hairdressers.  As an organisation we are dedicated to offering creativity and opportunity to all – regardless of experience, job title or qualifications. We have set the standards over the past 75 years and will continue to do so for 75 more years, and already we have some exciting plans in the pipeline.”
