The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has, over many years, built one of the industry’s most respected scholarship frameworks — a framework that identifies and elevates talented hairdressers at every stage of their career. Patrick believes in what the Fellowship stands for and wants to contribute to it in a meaningful way.
Long hairdressing is a specialist discipline that demands patience, precision, and a commitment to continuous learning. It is also one of the most commercially rewarding services a stylist can offer. Yet it remains consistently underrepresented in professional development programmes.
The Patrick Cameron Long Hair Scholarship addresses that gap directly. It is designed for stylists who want to go deeper — who are ready to commit to their craft, document their progress, and be seen by one of the best in the world.
Unlike scholarships that reward a single polished performance, this scholarship is built around a structured learning journey. Every applicant must complete challenges on Style Challenge
Patrick’s dedicated long hair education platform — before being considered for the award.
The scholarship is open to all Fellowship members with an interest in long hairdressing. There is no age limit. Whether the applicant is a salon stylist building a bridal clientele, an educator developing their platform, or a creative stylist pushing the boundaries of session work — all are welcome.
One Grand Prize winner will be selected, with up to FIVE runners-up also recognised.
