NEW! Welcome to PROJECT SCOTLAND!
Project Scotland: Elevating Scottish Hair Creativity
Project Scotland is a unique programme designed to showcase and develop Scotland’s top hairdressing talent across all areas of creativity—cutting, colouring, styling, and more. With a minimum of 8 educations days + a photoshoot (all education days will be based in Scotland), as well as appearing on stage time at HairCon, Manchester & the Projects Grand Finale.
It’s a platform for hair professionals to come together, learn from each other, and explore new creative approaches, all while staying true to the distinctive style and innovation that 'Scottish Hair Creativity' is known for.
What Project Scotland offers:
Project Scotland is about fostering creativity and collaboration, giving hair professionals the tools and inspiration to continue growing and pushing boundaries in their craft.
As Managing Director of Medusa, Scotland's fastest-growing salon group, I lead six innovative salons and a state-of-the-art 4,000 sq ft academy, designed to shape the future of hairdressing.
In addition to my role as Wella's UK Style Director, I also serve as a Wella Global Business Mentor, empowering salons worldwide with cutting-edge strategies and education.
I’ve proudly won the Business Director of the Year award at the British Hairdressing Business Awards in both 2020 and 2022, with over 14 BHA nominations—including Scottish Art Team and Colour. Passionate about creative cutting and business education, my goal is to champion the phenomenal talent we have in Scotland and redefine the global hairdressing landscape.
Sarah is a passionate hairdresser and dedicated educator with 28 year’s experience in the hairdressing industry. Sarah believes in continual development and education, goal is to inspire each individual to reach their goals and full potential in the hairdressing industry.
In 2022 Sarah won the title for the UK precision cutting champion. In 2023 dedicated a year to learning on Project X. In 2024 Sarah has worked with the prestigious brand Dior and collaborated with lots of stylists for photoshoots and educational events. Sarah's 2024 collection made finalist for Scotland in the British hairdressing awards.
Sarah believes in collaboration and that all stylists deserve the best education and should be able to work with a diverse range of hair textures from the tightest coyly to pin straight.
