As Managing Director of Medusa, Scotland's fastest-growing salon group, I lead six innovative salons and a state-of-the-art 4,000 sq ft academy, designed to shape the future of hairdressing.

In addition to my role as Wella's UK Style Director, I also serve as a Wella Global Business Mentor, empowering salons worldwide with cutting-edge strategies and education.

I’ve proudly won the Business Director of the Year award at the British Hairdressing Business Awards in both 2020 and 2022, with over 14 BHA nominations—including Scottish Art Team and Colour. Passionate about creative cutting and business education, my goal is to champion the phenomenal talent we have in Scotland and redefine the global hairdressing landscape.

Alison’s career began with early recognition — shortlisted for BHA Newcomer of the Year, winning Wella Young Brit of the Year, and finalising in several prestigious competitions. Over the past 25 years, she has combined a thriving client base with her true passion: educating and inspiring the next generation of hairdressers, both in-salon and beyond.

Her journey has taken her backstage at Fashion Week, onto photoshoots with some of the industry’s best, and into collaborations with leading brands such as GHD.

After being successful in the selection process of Project Scotland in 2025, Alison knows first-hand how life-changing the programme can be — building skills, confidence, and connections that last a lifetime.

A strong believer in collaboration, Alison believes every hairstylist deserves the highest standard of education to equip them with the skills to develop in any area of the industry. She is committed to ensuring the next generation have access to the best training and experiences available.

Having opened the doors to Jason Hall Hairdressing in 1994, Jason's Edinburgh salon has become synonymous with award winning hairdressing. Passionate about delivering wearable hair for everyone, owner & director Jason Hall was named Scottish Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards 2019/20.

Jason is also a renowned session stylist and regularly works backstage at Fashion Weeks.

Lesley is a highly respected Wella Colour Expert at F&M Hairdressing, known for her deep technical knowledge, artistic flair, and precision colour work. With years of industry experience and specialist training from one of the world’s leading professional colour brands, Lesley is a true authority when it comes to hair colour.

Lesley’s expertise spans the full spectrum of colour services — from subtle highlights and lived-in blondes to bold, fashion-forward transformations. Her understanding of hair science, colour chemistry, and tone placement ensures that every client receives a result that is not only stunning but also healthy, long-lasting, and tailored to their unique features and lifestyle.
