My role in The Fellowship
As the Project Leader for PROJECT: Colour I look after The Team and organise their calendar of events providing them with support and guidance throughout. The progression of The Team is then reported by myself to the Events Committee.
My industry background
Fresh out of school, I joined a small local Cardiff salon in 1996, times were different then, root tints and Highlights were the order of the day, the internet and social media was wild concept, saved for late night musings.
Constantly absorbing as much as I could and working my way through the ranks over 11 years, the time came for me to move to London.
I spent the next 4 years working for Aveda in covent garden, before moving back to Cardiff and joining Ken Picton salon.
This is where the real fun began, over the last 8 years I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world with Ken and L'oreal, I’ve taught seminars in every continent and presented shows to huge audiences, met and worked with some industry legends and even won a British Hair award!
The world haas changed a lot in those 22 years, but one thing has always stayed the same, my love for colouring hair
What does being part of The Fellowship mean to me?
I love to learn, who doesn’t?, but I also love to share.
Being part of the fellowship has given me constant education and inspiration over the last 8 years, now its my turn to give that back, I can’t wait to share what I have learnt and found on my journey through hair colour and hopefully inspire the next generation of future stars.
Something people might not know about me
On weekends I love to wear lycra …….oh and combine that with riding a bike :)
