CLUBSTAR ART TEAM WIG SESSION WITH ALASTAIR JUBBS
ClubStar Art Team meet for their first LIVE EDUCATION at the amazing Karoliina Saunders Salon in the county of Wiltshire, with their mentor Alastair Jubbs, from the Hairdotcom Team & also past F.A.M.E. Team Member. A fashion focused day of styling & creating custom hair pieces.
Alastair delivered an inspirational education session centred around how to utilise wigs to create more creative conent and ideas for photo shoots. He explaind the differences in wigs, how they are made and wig wraps. He also offered some insight into how to become a session and editorial stylist by sharing the story of his own personal journey.
Josie Simmons comments: “After our session with Alastair Jubbs on Monday, I feel so inspired. We were shown an area of hairdressing that is completely creative whilst also covering the practical uses of wigs and how to apply them for photo shoots and shows. There were so many fun techniques that I cannot wait to try at home and I’m spending every spare minute working on the projects we started in the session. I loved it! An amazing day!”
Sam Arnold comments: “The day with Alastair was so amazing, as he looks at hair so differently to a ‘hairdresser’ and more like a fabric that you can manipulate and use to create shapes and texture. Wigs were a new thing for me and learning basic application techniques and to step outside the box is so inspiring, especially as session work is something I would love to get into!”
