ClubStar Art Team with Ben Brown

As well as learning a little more about Ben’s career journey to date, the team were taken through the importance of fundamental cutting techniques and how you can only begin to break the rules, if you know the rules.

“Ben demonstrated two hair cuts to us in our workshop,” says team member Amy Burgess from Q Hair & Beauty, “he created a precision cut bob with an under-cut and then transformed the sharp lines into a softer, wearable look, showing how to blend an undercut into a textured pixie cut. It was great to see so many techniques in action!”

The team finished their year on a high with a practical session guided by Ben. Team member Ellie Bond from Spargo Hairdressing says, “It was a fantastic day to conclude our year! Being a part of the ClubStar Art Team has played a significant role in the development of my career and I am so grateful to the Fellowship for giving me this platform. Our mentor Simon has inspired us all so much along the way and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us!”
