The Fellowship stage at Pro Hair Live took pride of place at the show in Manchester Central, providing a platform for members and sponsors to showcase their skills. From cutting and colour to styling and avant-garde artistry, the stage was set for two days on inspiration, education and skill sharing.
The Karine Jackson Artistic Team shared sleek, directional updos and tumbling curls. Shane Bennett for Goldwell was all about dimensional colour, with neon brights and punk styling. For Ashleigh Hodges, unexpected colour and clever techniques took centre stage.
Representing Unite, Creative Director Gary Baker and Melissa Timperley showcased sharp cutting skills and avant-garde silhouettes. Barber Barber brought men’s cutting to the mainstage, while the KH Hair team went supersized with shapes and David Rae and his Session Team showcased rainbow bright shades and runway-inspired textures.
Contemporary Salons presented modern shapes for all genders, while both James Earnshaw for Amika and Bang salons embraced youth with fun and Instagram-friendly shapes, accessories and details.
The Urban Hair & Beauty Art Team worked with colour and texture for a darkly gothic collection, and Suzie McGill at Rainbow Room International represented Schwarzkopf Professional with luxurious colour and trend-led styling.
Sophie Laidlaw and the Wonderland team presented plaits, waves and wet-look texture for a fashion-forward collection and Vault Hair presented three strong cuts – including one revealed last minute under a clever wig.
The Paul Mitchell team used a palette of pastel colours to present plaits and curls, before it was over to Michelle Griffin for her trademark extension work, using pieces to add colour, detailing and avant-garde structure.
Finally, both representing Schwarzkopf Professional, Rick Roberts and the Lewis Moore Artistic Team presented colourful collections in pastel brights and autumnal hues, respectively.
As well as creative presentations, the stage also played host to the Fellowship Live Lounge; the interactive interview space that sees hairdressing experts share their stories, industry updates and Fellowship memories. Guests including Errol Douglas MBE, Ashleigh Hodges and Andrew Collinge all paid a visit, for two days of inspiring interviews and insight.
