JOHN BELFIELD LONG TIME SUPPORTER OF THE FELLOWSHIP RETIRES

John Bellfield has been a huge part of the Fellowship for many years now and in 2024, will retire from salon life. 

Here John tells us about his Fellowship Journey:

“I was first introduced to the Fellowship in 1970 by Xavier Wenger, during a trip to Japan for the Universal Hairdressing Championships.  Sadly my health isn’t good these days, I’ve now had surgery, my prognosis is good, but the surgery is life changing , I’ve always been an active Fellow, certainly during my time in the Ladies British World Cup Team with the likes of Chris Mann and Colin Lewis during the eighties, most recently helping out with photography in Leeds/Manchester and Liverpool up until last year. It’s good to see the Fellowship in a good place, new faces, with high energy driving it forward, for me it’s time to stand down as the year comes to a close, I would like to thank the Fellowship for my journey over those many incredible years, and wish all, old and new. every success.”
