PROJECT AFRO SPEND THEIR TEAM DAY WITH THE AVLON CREATIVE TEAM

Project Leader Jacqui McIntosh hosted the team’s second day at Wella World Studio in London.  Joined by her Avlon/Uberliss creative team, Lathaniel Chambers & Anthony Grant the day was all about the art of straightening semi-permanent and permanent textured hair.

Chris Grimley comments:  Another fabulous day of watching and learning and meeting fabulous artists Anthony Grant and Lathaniel Chambers were inspiring. It’s emotional at times but in good way and I’m so grateful for this opportunity with the Fellowship.”

Scott Cooper comments: “2 sessions in and I have already exceeded my goals for this experience. The wealth of knowledge Jacqui brings is phenomenal but that’s second to her passion and enthusiasm for our industry. The Afro project, in fact working with textured hair in general, isn’t a niche part of our craft it’s an inclusive celebration about all hair types. It’s based on the science of hair, which again applies to all hair types. I haven’t even mentioned the calibre of the mentors we have access to! I’m loving this journey.”
