SASSOON ACADEMY PRESENT A CUT & COLOURING DAY WITH PROJECT COLOUR

Danielle Harvey, Assistant UK Creative Director & Pink Grubb, Colour Director, from Sassoon Academy provided the team with an amazing combination of cutting & colouring, as Wella World Studio in London.

In the morning Danielle & Pink, worked on live models to create looks.  The afternoon was all about putting the learnings into practice, working in pairs to create the mornings looks. The team chose to either do a cut or a colour.

Laura Kirton comments: “What an inspirational day!!! It was my first time working with Sassoon and I absolutely loved it! Danielle and Pink were amazing, such a fun day. I learnt so much. As I’m a colour technician I found myself learning so much from the cuts too. Which I loved watching something different to what I normally would do on a day to day basis.”

Stevie Leah comments: “The mentor day with Sassoon was filled with great energy, hands-on demonstrations and infectious enthusiasm. It was a privilege to learn new cut and colouring techniques from seasoned professionals who possessed an incredible wealth of knowledge. I’ve left feeling so inspired and eager to apply my newfound skills.”

Morgan Graham comments: “Our team day with Pink & Danielle, was by far my most favourite team day. I got so much out of it and came away feeling so inspired. Danielle gave me the confidence to try new techniques and Pink inspired me to try some wild colour applications. Was a fantastic day and it has made me want to book onto more Sassoon courses!”

Allie Harknett added: “Spending the day with Sassoon was probably one of my favourite days we have had so far on Project Colour. It was nice to switch things up and learn some cutting techniques. Pink talked us through colour placement, and how it will affect the cut and shows us a technique so that they can both complement each other. I have never done any Sassoon courses so this being my first was amazing! And I’m looking forward to joining in some more Sassoon courses in the future.”
