PROJECT MEN ON THE WAHL STAGE AT BARBER CONNECT

Barber Connect is the Europe’s largest barber exhibition which takes place in Telford, with some of the biggest names in the barbering industry in attendance.

Our Project Men team were invited to attend the two-day event alongside their Project Leader, Simon Shaw, Wahl’s Global Artistic Director.

Presenting our work and sharing the same stage with our project leader Simon Shaw and the whole Wahl artistic team was a dream come true! It’s been a very inspiring couple of days and couldn’t have enjoyed it more! Thank you Fellowship!”

Kyle Dodson comments: “So Barber Connect was my first ever stage appearance and WOW!! What an experience! I have been to the event before but only as a spectator. But being able to work on stage alongside some of the biggest names in the industry was amazing! From start to finish! Sunday was my first show and I was quite nervous as I was walking on but as I was cutting on stage the comfortable and confident I was. The 30 minute show flew by in a matter of seconds! I would like to thank Captain Fawcett for also having me cut on their stand. Such amazing people and products! Everyone was super nice and supportive throughout the weekend! I also was in the top 5 finalists for 'Wahl British rising star!' This was another achievement for my career and gave me a buzz for the whole weekend! Unfortunately, it didn't go my way. but I would like to congratulate the winner Anthony O'Connell.

This year has been amazing being part of the Fellowship Project Men. I’ve had a taste of what a great career in the hair industry could feel like and I hope to keep rising and pushing my career forward every year. Thank you to everyone involved!”
