PROJECT MEN & MEDIA 2024 SPEND THEIR FIRST DAY WITH BRAND PARTNER CAPTAIN FAWCETT

The team travelled to Captain Fawcett’s Emporium in Kings Lynn, Norfolk for a special day with Richie Finney, Creator of Captain Fawcett & Internationally renowned barber, Sid Sottung.

The team spent the morning learning all about the Captain Fawcett brand & products.  Sid then provided the team with a masterclass in beard shaping and shaving techniques.

Kieran Martin comments:  Such an incredible day to learn about the rich history of all things barbering from tools of the trade to terms and where they came from. If there was ever an icon of the industry that we love, Captain Fawcett would be that. For a person to have true passion and love for everything with what he does, it's greatly inspiring to see! Sid's demo's on wet shaving and beard designs was incredible and loved that he talked about the science behind the human skin. I will definitely be returning to see more of the amazing place!”

Luke Ellis comments: “It was an amazing experience delving into the creation process of Captain Fawcett products and discovering their rich history. The insights gained during Sid's demos, particularly on beard shaping and shaving techniques, proved to be highly beneficial for me.”

Emma Herrieven added: “It was such an amazing day learning about the history of barbering to the history of Captain Fawcett. It was incredible to be able to walk around and look at all the character the building holds. Sid’s demos were brilliant to watch and the way he explained things made it to much clearer and easy to understand! I definitely hope to return!”
