CONCEPT HAIR LEARNER OF THE YEAR 2024 FINAL KICKS OFF THIS WEEK!

We are excited to announce there are just two days left until the eagerly anticipated final of the Concept Hair Learner of the Year 2024 kicks off! The event is set to take place this Thursday, 21st March, at Telford College.

With 54 finalists ready to showcase their exceptional talent and creativity, the event is poised to be a thrilling display of hairdressing and barbering skill and artistry. The competition spans nine thrilling categories, allowing finalists to demonstrate a wide range of skills from styling, hair-up, and barbering, to colouring, textured, and avant-garde hair techniques.

The panel of judges, comprising leading names, includes Matthew Sutcliffe on behalf of L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, Josh Lowton-Humphries on behalf of Alan Howard, Emma Dixon on behalf of Denman Professional, Nicola Smyth on behalf of Diva Pro, Rhys Whitehouse of Wahl Professional, Lisa Farrall from WIG, Ashleigh Hodges on behalf of The Fellowship for British Hairdressing and our Head Judge, Jody Jones from VTCT. Their expertise will play a pivotal role in assessing the competitors' skills.

Adding an extra layer of excitement, the charismatic Dom Lehane, Founder and Presenter of the leading hair industry podcast 'How To Cut It,' will serve as the guest compere. His unique energy and charisma are set to captivate the audience with his engaging style, adding a dynamic element to the event.

As the competitors work their magic, the audience will be treated to six fantastic live demonstrations by leading industry professionals, offering invaluable top tips, guidance and inspiration.

Concept Hair Learner of the Year is headlined by L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, alongside other prominent industry brands, including Alan Howard, Denman Professional, Diva Pro, Wahl Professional, WIG, The Fellowship for British Hairdressing, HTCI Platform, and VTCT, all contributing significantly to supporting the UK's most promising hairdressing and barbering
learners.
