Fellowship for British Hairdressing launches Spotlight

With a history of promoting and encouraging new talent, The Fellowship for British Hairdressing is launching SPOTLIGHT – a digital event on 3 May to showcase the best of creativity across the UK.

Members were invited to take part in the digital event which will be hosted by President 

Ken Picton and ClubStar Art Team Project Leader,

Karoliina Saunders.  

The evening will include a session with Fellowship Hairdressers of the Year Gary Hooker and Michael Young and an interview with Guest of Honour, Melissa Timperley.

Like the traditional Members Nights, presenters have up to four minutes to showcase their work to an international audience of fellow members, sponsors and industry influencers.

And to encourage development, a select panel will give feedback after the event;

Errol Douglas MBE, Bruno Marc, Karine Jackson, Robert Masciave, Nick Irwin, and

Jonathan Andrew will all offer their pointers for future success.

President Ken Picton adds: “Our Members Nights have been a great platform for many hairdressers over the years and we aren’t going to stop offering our members an opportunity to take their first steps to presenting! So this year, we have rebranded and moved this event online. Our teams will showcase their skills and take their first step to presenting to an audience of their peers.”
