London Calling
The Fellowship for British Hairdressing took over the mainstage at HJ Live each morning of the show, with two hours of inspiring education to kickstart the day. Members from across the country took to the stage to showcase their skills in cut, colour, styling and session work.
For opening artist, Karoliina Saunders, it was all about session styling with updos built around knots and texture. Sarai Hair and Beauty showcased contrasting texture, while The Vault Artistic Team demonstrated graphic cuts.
Representing Unite, the Jason Liddiard team, presented dramatic curls contrasted with bold, dramatic colour. Andrew Smith presented live colouring, with neon-meets-pastel detailing, and David Rae gave rainbow hair an update with tie-dye techniques. The Hare and Bone team presented trademark texture and updos, for a dynamic interpretation of their brand. Finally, the Sebastian Professional Cult Team showcased what they’d learnt with wig-making, shattered cuts and dramatic colour.
