PROJECT AFRO SPEND THE DAY WITH PROJECT LEADER JACQUI MCINTOSH

The team travelled to the new studio space of the Fellowship Vice President’s Ashleigh Hodges, at Mash Creative Studios in London to spend the day with Project Leader &  Avlon’s European Education Director Jacqui McIntosh. 

Working on live models Jacqui mentored the team through the techniques of working on how to smooth textured hair and products to use, looking for the curl pattern and how to work with the elasticity of the hair.

Natasha Brajovic comments: “First day with Jacqui and I now understand the technique to smooth textured hair and most importantly achieve a long-lasting result - her way of 
educating is inspiring I can’t wait for more.”

Richard James comments: "Had amazing first day with Jacqui. Learned about structure and different hair types of textured hair. Analysing the hair and choosing the right products for each model we worked on. I’m so inspired and looking forward to our next meeting."
