PROJECT AFRO TEAM DAY ON BRAIDING, PLAITING & BARBERING!

Project Leader Jacqui McIntosh, was joined by mentors Anthony Francis & Aycan Kemal who took the team through a day of braiding, plaiting & barbering.   Hosted at Electric Space in London.

As well as the mentors, the team also provided live models to create a ‘hands on’ day.

Chris Grimley comments: “Day three Project Afro was by far the best yet! I had light bulbs popping off left right and centre I love a learning day like this and I loved getting hands on with some practical work too! Amazing mentors in both Anthony Francis and Aycan Kemal thank you for some golden nuggets I will remember forever.”

Scott Cooper comments: "Scott Cooper comments: “What another amazing day.  Aycan holds the Guinness World Record for Speed Braiding. We are so spoilt on the project.  Jacqui has given us access to mentors whom we wouldn’t normally get access to.  It was great to experiment on techniques.  A thoroughly enjoyable day and many more to come.”
