PROJECT COLOUR TEAM DAY WITH GIUSEPPE STELITANO

A few years ago Giuseppe Stelitano was a barista in the Trevor Sorbie salon in Covent Garden, having moved from Italy to follow his dreams. Pure passion for hair drove him to switch trades, complete an intense training programme and emerge as a game-changing colourist for the legendary London salon where he is now their Creative Director.

Giuseppe was the first person in the history of the company to be offered a position within the main Artistic Team after presenting his first collection, and has gone on to wow thousands on stage and in print.

Katie McLaughlin comments: “We had an amazing day at Trevor Sorbie with Giuseppe.
We learned about his process with creating his collection and then recreated our take on it in the afternoon using inspiration pictures.”

Sophie Perfect comments: “Monday was such an inspiring day, we learnt how to think in a different way about creative colour, ‘there are ideas all around us, all we have to do is look beyond the obvious’. I really enjoyed learning more about how much research, time and effort Giuseppe puts into each collection he puts together, using artists as inspiration to turn it into hair colour.”
