PROJECT EXTEND SPEND THE DAY WITH PROJECT LEADER MICHELLE GRIFFIN & MARLENE LAMONT FROM URBAN HAIR

The team travelled to Nashwhite in Warwick to spend their day with Michelle Griffin, Project Leader and Director of Loxbox Hair Extensions.  Marlene Lamont who was on Project Extend in 2023, also joined Michelle as guest mentor.

The morning was a brand overview, involving consultation, placement guidelines, removal and rotation.

After lunch, the team got to work on Taped Hair Creativity.  

Jade Miles comments: “The day with Michelle & Marlenewas brilliant. We learnt all about the many different types of extensions. Working with Loxbox gave us the chance to create some really creative work. Using textured tapes for the first time was something we all learnt a lot from and thoroughly enjoyed.”

Claire McGowan comments: "We had an amazing day learning from Michelle all about applying extensions especially tapes & getting to know all about the Loxbox brand as I’d love to start offering this service. It was so interesting to see how we can incorporate tapes into our salon work but also for creative work too. It was brilliant to have Marlene with us, she shared eveything she could with us and was so inspiring to watch her recreate some of her photoshoot looks from last year."

Rebecca Mills added: "What a great day of education on tape hair extensions with Michelle. I absolutely loved the hair extensions company Loxbox such amazing hair extensions and found it amazing about the different types of hair extensions to fit with the natural curl of the hair! Also getting to work with Marlene Lamont who was last year's Project Extend Achiever, was very inspiring showing us some fantastic ideas of colour and patterns on taped hair extensions!"
