PROJECT EXTEND SPEND THE DAY WITH AWARD WINNING HAIRDRESSER ANNE VECK

The team travelled to Nashwhites in Warwick to spend the day with the amazing Anne Veck, charismatic, motivating and creative.  Anne is on a mission to make hairdressing more sustainable, diverse and artistic.

Anne delved into her passion & borderline obsession with hairdressing.  Anne took the team back to when she participated in the worldwide Hair Tour, a spectacular show organised by Davines.  Sharing with the team how to interpret mood boards and seamlessly collaborate to bring someone else’s vision to lie.  Showing how to decode the nuance meanings behind commercial, editorial and avant-garde images, unlocking the secrets of visual storytelling.

The afternoon was all about getting ‘hands-in’ techniques hair stitching, braiding and adding hair!

Jade Miles comments: “Really inspiring day seeing how Anne creates her iconic looks. Watching and learning hair stitching, braiding, adding hair and how to create looks from a brief will be so helpful towards our photoshoot and stage work later in the year!”
