PROJECT X FASHION WEEK MASTERCLASS WITH GLOBAL SESSION STYLIST ADAM GARLAND

The team travelled to Lisa Farrall’s new space WIG London, to spend the day with Adam Garland, Global Session Stylist & Authentic Beauty Concept’s Global Creative Advocate.

The morning was filled with a backstage scenario and 2 demos creating the classic Ponytail.  After lunch, the final demo and then its hand’s on with the team working in pairs to create their look.

Olivia Brady comments: “What an amazing day at WIG London with our amazing mentor Lisa Farrall and guest mentor Adam Garland. As a team we got down to the nitty gritty and really got to experience all that Adam had to offer. With insight into product use, honing and building our techniques, and some industry tips on how to get onto fashion week, I can honestly say I’m seeing my career clearer with precise information on my next steps.  I really loved learning the fundamentals of ponytails, and learning when to use products backstage, and how to be a good assistant.  Thank you Adam and his team, Bella and Cate for an amazing mentor day that’s definitely lit my fire! Thank you Lisa and all the team at the Fellowship, for arranging this insane mentorship day.”

Jamie Leigh Bailey comments: “What way to kick off Project X. Not only did we learn technical work after being shown some fundamentals, such as ponytails, we also learnt about adding hair, product application, what to expect working Fashion Week and how to be on our game with assisting. Both Lisa and Adam have been an absolute inspiration, I’m super hyped to see what else the year has to offer and really grateful to have the opportunity to learn from such insanely talented mentors.”
